About Us
SSE provides a variety of services related to Environmental, Health & Safery (EHS); as well as services related to Management Training and Analysis.
 
SSE is located in the Dayton, Ohio area.  It was founded in 1983 by Ron Himebaugh as a software development company for EHS applications.  Products and services included: 1) software for the reporting of analytical data to the Evironmental Protection Agency; 2) systems for tracking and reporting preventive and corrective maintenance; 3) documentation of employee training records and 4) numerous other special applications. 
 
Over the years the company has participated in joint ventures with other companies (e.g. Woolpert Consultants and Helix Environmental), and focused more on providing consulting and contractual services related to EHS.  SSE now specializes in ISO 14000 and ISO 18000 services from design/implementation to compliance and conformance auditing.  Expansion into management of systems, processes and people resulted in services related to management improvement and training.
